FAQs

Q: What is the difference between Bifold and Trifold?
A: The Bifold folds the sheet in half vertically. There is no window and the address is printed directly on the outside. The Trifold divides the sheet into three horizontal panels. The address prints on the bottom panel and shows through a window on the front middle panel. Trifold mailers also include a security tint on the back to prevent content from showing through.

Q: Can I send Snap Packs to international recipients?
A: Yes. Non-US addresses are supported. Snap Packs are always printed and processed in the US and mailed internationally from the US. Additional international postage charges apply.

Q: Why was my order converted from Standard Class to First Class?
A: USPS Standard Class requires a minimum of 200 mailers. If your order is below this threshold, PostGrid automatically converts it to First Class to maintain USPS compliance.

Q: What content methods are available?
A: You can provide content using Templates (inside and outside), Raw HTML (inside and outside), or a PDF upload (single 2-page file). These methods cannot be mixed within a single order.

Q: What snap pack formats does PostGrid support?
A: PostGrid supports two formats: an 8.5×11" bi-fold (V-fold) pressure seal and an 8.5×11" tri-fold (C-fold) pressure seal. Both are available via API and dashboard.
