Test the integration in checkout

Once your PostGrid Address Verification app is connected and preferences are saved, you can test how address autocomplete and verification appear in your Shopify checkout.

Address Suggestions

As customers start typing their shipping or billing address, PostGrid automatically provides address suggestions in real time. These suggestions are sourced from verified postal databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Customers can simply select one of the suggested addresses to instantly fill in the complete and properly formatted address fields.

Address Verification

After the address is entered, PostGrid Address Verification validates it against official postal databases. If the entered address can be standardized or corrected, the customer will see a comparison modal allowing them to choose between their Original Address and PostGrid’s Suggested Address.

Customers can:

• Use Modified Address to accept the corrected, deliverable address
• Keep Original Address if they prefer their entered version
• Or Edit Original Address before proceeding

This process helps ensure every order is shipped to a verified, deliverable address and reduces delivery failures and return mail.
